I purchased Cheap Jeep for our dog Tank, our rescue Pit Bull, as a vehicle to take him on rides and to go camping. When it was purchased, it was the cheapest Jeep on the market at the time that also met several minimum requirements. These were it had to be a 6 cylinder and it had to run, it had to be relatively rust free, must be a standard transmission, and the heater core had to be intact and not leaking.
Cheap Jeep was rescued from a Ranch in Kerrville TX, from a teen that didn’t have time to fix it up. After a few off-road adventures most of the worn-out stock components were quickly replaced, with the goal now to be off road worthy and to be more dependable.
While any Jeep build is not cheap, the name on Tanks Cheap Jeep remains.
